Overview
CELTA is a 10-week, part-time teacher-training course delivered by TEFLism in collaboration with ITI. Combining practical input sessions, assessed teaching practice with detailed feedback, and four written assignments, the course develops the skills and confidence needed to teach English effectively. Participants also receive access to Cambridge Moodle materials and TEFLism’s CELTA Support Package throughout their training journey.

Steps
1. Create an ELTica account through the TEFLism centre page.
2. Complete the pre-application:
- Approximately 250 words of writing
- A one-minute voice recording
- AI-assisted English-proficiency screening
3. If the English requirement is met, complete the pre-interview language-awareness task.
4. Select an available interview appointment.
5. TEFLism confirms the interview and collects the interview fee.
6. After the interview:
- Successful applicants receive an offer through ELTica.
- They pay the first half of the course fee to reserve their place.
- Unsuccessful applicants receive feedback, recommendations and a suggested timeframe for reapplying.
